Dante was thankful that Ophelia was around, especially in that moment. He limped into the house and let out a little whimper of a noise when Annie nudged her head against him. He wanted her safe and he hadn't protected her the way that he should have. Needless to say, Dante felt more than a little guilty that Annie had been hurt at all. It was all his fault.
Once the door was shut, he moved towards Ophelia and slumped at her feet as if to say 'thank you' and 'please help me' all at the same time.
