She nodded a little, taking the paper and folding it and tucking it away in her purse. Izumi drew in a breath and reached across the table, letting her fingers rest gently over her father's for a moment or two. "For what it's worth," she began, drawing in a little breath, "I don't hate you." she told him. He deserved to at least know that all the bridges hadn't been burned.
"I should let you get back to work." she told him, giving him a gentle smile as she stood up. "Don't want you in trouble on my account. I'll call though." she promised. She bit her bottom lip as she glanced around and back to him. "Goodbye."
