He knew that Isis might not feel exactly the same way that he did and he didn't blame her for not saying the words back. Still, he felt she deserved to know just how he felt about her and about the children she'd helped him to make. She'd quickly found her way into being the most important person in his life carrying two more extremely important little people. How could he not love her? He'd never experienced such a feeling before in his entire life and the ache he felt for her had no other description other than love.
He thanked the technician for the tissues and made quick work of dabbing away the tears and recomposing himself. The hug from Isis certainly helped. He gave her a gentle squeeze in return.
