"You had me at ears turning red." Few things were better than a little bit of public humiliation for the sake of entertainment, especially when there wasn't a malicious intent behind the words. "Although if I start pestering him, I should probably make sure to meet your sister and explain before I have a different lioness on my tail." Could she be any more surrounded by cats? Seriously.
The quickest way to get Darcy smile was to mention Tony's name, which was probably going to ruin her reputation in and of itself, but she couldn't be bothered to care too much. "Both. With guys in high school I always get the feeling like they have no idea what you're actually up to or that you're pulling something over on them. With Tony, I think he has more of an idea and just does it anyway." She hesitated. "But he's also known me for a very long time so that might skew the results a bit. And neither of us caught on that the other was interested so maybe we're both just fucking oblivious idiots. Who knows."
And end rant. "But I totally want a pic of Teo in your car. I'll make it my phone wallpaper."
This idea was just getting better all the time. "We may need to choreograph this out beforehand, which should be right up your alley, yes?" She knew nothing about cheerleading, but she thought it might lend itself well to that sort of endeavor. Maybe.
