She hadn't gone into this topic of conversation in any attempt to make Chloe feel worse. It was actually sort of a compliment. The fact that Darcy was talking to her in completely sentences instead of eye rolls and fed up noises was a good sign in and of itself.
God, Darcy wasn't sure if she had ever thought of any of Teo's exes in a way that didn't involve high amounts of scorn, eye rolling and mocking. "It's possible that they weren't as bad as my tales make them out to be." She shrugged. "I don't really know or care anymore. At the time, I didn't like them because they were idiots, overly threatened or whatever else." She waved a hand in the air because it was difficult to tell sometimes. "I'd suggest asking one of his male friends for a less biased opinion, but you and I are already in agreement about how they think."
