Chloe listened to what Darcy had to say. She didn't seem bitchy or mean and she really didn't have any problems with anything that she'd said to her thus far. She even apologized for undue strain. That was nice. She didn't have, to apologize for anything so it was definitely points on her side of the talk for at least trying to be cordial.
"I don't think it was all your fault," she told her. "I don't think it was all his. It was just a big mess and I wasn't there so I can't really comment on much of it. All I know is he showed up at my work all angry and...," she sighed and shook her head. "And it only got worse. He got all alpha-y on me," she muttered, scrunching her nose. "I kind of hope you guys never fight again that badly because it was almost a really big mess and would have just gotten him in more trouble," she explained. She wasn't even sure why she was saying all of this to Darcy, but it was all out in the open now and there wasn't much she could do about it. At least she hadn't gone into detail and Mateo would likely tell her anyway so it wasn't that big a deal.
As they stopped at Darcy's locker, Chloe shrugged a little. "I'm a virgin, I can't exactly be a slut. Just because you call me something doesn't make it true," she said, taking the apple from the other girl. "I doubt anything you've called me is atrocious and even if it is, whatever. It's better than what his guy friends likely call me behind his back. They think I don't know that they're all dirty pervy bastards."
