Hey Mom, Guess What?
Who: Cheyenne, Lucas and Justice (with Jason in texts)
What: Giving Justice the 'good' news in kind of a bad way
When: 10.16 - Sunday Morning
Where: Hunter residence
Warning: NSFW - damned horny teenagers
Shy crowed in pleasure as she wrapped her legs around Lucas' back higher. "Luc," she hissed loudly, hand fisting in his hair as she yanked him down for a kiss. Yeah, she was making him bend his back in a funny way, but she didn't care. The nails of her other hand dug into his shoulder as she rolled her hips into his. And she thought it couldn't get better than the night before. Damn.
God he loved those noises she made. He wasn't going to get tired of being the one making her make them either. Lucas really didn't give a damn if she was bending him in half jerking him down for that kiss, he gave her one all the same and let his hand slide over her side to her hip. He gripped her flesh tightly, leaving likely another set of finger-shaped bruises along her hipbone. The other hand went to the headboard, finding it was handy for leverage.
His blankets were shoved somewhere near the bottom of the bed and he really didn't give a damn. His mother wouldn't be home until later that night if she came home at all. He couldn't have been more pleased that she'd gotten herself a boyfriend if he tried. He didn't even hear the sound of the door downstairs unlocking, far too busy concentrating on the feel of Cheyenne to give a damn if the cavalry came in. "You like that?" he whispered as he tore his lips from hers, putting more force behind his thrusts. Christ that felt good.
Justice had stayed at Jason’s the night before - they’d gotten home late from the bar, taking a detour into the woods to go for a little re-enactment of their first night together. Watching him on stage had gotten her all worked up, and they were both feeling it Sunday morning. Still aching, she’d driven home to grab a shower and get changed before heading out to meet Naya. She’d picked up things for breakfast, thinking that it might be nice to have a quick catch-up with Lucas, considering she’d barely seen him all weekend.
Dumping the bag in the kitchen, she headed upstairs, the smell coming from Lucas’ room giving her pause. Not the fact that Lucas was having sex - with Alanna pregnant, it was a little too late for that. No, it was the fact that she was pretty sure that he hadn’t been having sex with Alanna. All she could smell was Shy. Shaking her head, she pushed open Lucas’ door, intending to wake the two of them up for some breakfast. “Luca-OH MY GOD.”
It wasn't until his mother was in the damned room that he realized she was home. "Mooooom!" he all but yelled at her. "Get out!" Yeah, that was really going to work. He fumbled a little, pushing himself back enough from the headboard that he could reach for the blankets behind him, snatching them up over his bare ass. "Mom," he said again. "Out. Please, God, now." Yeah, embarrassing. He didn't even care if he'd have to explain, but his mother being right the fuck there while he was balls deep in a girl wasn't something he wanted to experience now or ever again.
Shy was crowing far too loudly to hear Justice come up the stairs, and her sense of smell was completely overwhelmed by Lucas this close. Especially since the whole room smelled like them having sex. Then it all kind of went to hell.
She was struck momentarily speechless, which somebody really ought to mark on the calendar, staring at Justice. "Oh boy..." Shy breathed. They really needed to explain, because it wasn't what his mother was thinking. Well, it was and it wasn't. "Hi?" she attempted feebly. Now would probably be a good time to cover her mouth, because Shy took a deep breath like she did right before she started rambling.
Lucas immediately reached out with the hand not holding the blankets up around his waist. He covered her mouth and glared at her. "Not a word. You'll make it worse than it is." Yeah, she'd not mean to, but she would. She'd ramble on and on and he did not need to clean up after that too.
Justice closed her eyes, putting her hand over them for good measure. God. This was not how she expected her Sunday morning to go. “Get some clothes on,” she said, still sounding completely shocked. “Breakfast will be downstairs. In five minutes.” Because yeah, they were talking about this. Because Lucas fucking around on his girlfriend? Yeah, that wasn’t happening. “And you better have a really interesting explanation for this.” Closing his bedroom door, Justice headed back downstairs, sending Jason a text. Just wlked in on L mid-sex. W/his best friend. I.e. not Alanna. Rmind me why I came home? J xxx She was still wearing last night’s clothes, but fuck it. She’d just walked in on him having sex - he could deal with her smelling of Jason, with visible claw marks on her arms.
Shy was kind of glad Lucas had covered her mouth. It was probably for the best. When Justice had left, she let out a nervous laugh. "Well, that was awkward," she observed. "This sucks. She doesn't seriously think you'd cheat on somebody, does she?" Lucas would never do that. He was way too good for that. She was his mom. She should know better. Right?
Jason had gone back to bed after Justice left, since nobody else was awake yet. He grabbed his phone off the nightstand, rubbing his eyes as he read the text. Then did a double take. what He wasn't awake enough for capital letters or punctuation. Or this.
Lucas sighed and rubbed his face with his hands, shaking his head a little at the question. "Probably," he muttered. "That's what the fuck it looks like." Which just made him angry as he reluctantly pulled away from her and got up from the bed. He grabbed a pair of boxers from his dresser and pulled them on, then found a pair of pajama bottoms to go over those. Snatching a shirt from the drawer, he handed it over to Cheyenne. "Come on, let's get this over with," he told her.
Now Shy was getting pissed. She didn't care what it looked like. Lucas just wouldn't do that. She grabbed the shirt from him and yanked it on, putting on her underwear from the night before and basically charging out of his room downstairs.
"He isn't cheating on her," she told Justice as she hit the bottom of the stairs. "I caught her tongue fucking some guy at Gail Martin's party. We went over to her place and she was riding the guy like a stallion and its not Lucas' baby because she's showing and I am so gonna poop on the rich bitch's car every time I see it when I go out because she's evil. That's what's going on."
For someone with such teeny little legs, Cheyenne could haul ass on them when she wanted to. He hadn't even had time to put on his pajama bottoms before she was out the door and heading downstairs. Pants in hand, he followed after her, nearly fumbling down the stairs and almost tripping once he reached the bottom as he tried to stuff his legs into the damned things. He managed to pull them up as he reached the kitchen, grabbing Cheyenne around her waist with one hand and covering her mouth with the other, but it was too late. "Jesus, Cheyenne," he sighed. "I'd have liked to explain myself, I don't know, myself."
“Sit,” Justice snapped, pointing to the table. She poured herself a large cup of coffee, cracking eggs into a pan. There was already bacon under the grill. “While I’m glad my son isn’t cheating on his pregnant girlfriend, Cheyenne,” and yeah, she was pissed. She never used Shy’s full name, “I’m more concerned about the fact that he’s having sex. Underage. Under my roof.” Sighing hard, she ran her hands through her hair, tilting her head back and staring at the ceiling as if it held the answers. She jumped as her phone beeped, grabbing it long enough to check, and send a quick reply. Yeah. Good news - bb not his. Bad news, A’s a cheating whore. May need help burying the bodies. ;) xxx “Do you two want coffee? Or juice?” She said, making an effort to keep her voice calm. She stirred the eggs in the pan, quickly making scrambled eggs and bacon for the three of them, setting their plates down before taking a seat.
Now that she wasn't protesting Lucas' innocence and she got a good look a Justice, Shy's eyes went wide at the marks all over her shoulders and stuff. Somebody had a good weekend. Damn. And now this. That kind of sucked. She took a deep breath, jerking her head free of Lucas' hand. "Oh," she said. "I just didn't want you to think- yeah." She sighed and leaned back against Lucas as Justice texted somebody. "I'll get the juice," she said. "And bread. Make toast. Let you two talk." Yeah, there. Good plan.
Jason rubbed his eyes, staring at the message in disbelief. Good God. Who's bodies we talking here? he asked, because it could be all the teenagers involved considering the entirety of the situation. Jesus. And he thought his kids were stressful.
Lucas sighed, but he let Cheyenne go to make the toast, pulling out a chair and plopping down in it, remaining far enough from the table that Shy could sit in his lap when she was finished because yeah, he wasn't in the mood to be more than a few inches away from her for a while. "I won't be under age in a couple of weeks," he pointed out. He couldn't say much about doing it under her roof, but where else was he supposed to go? "Would you rather me do it out in the woods?" he countered, arching a brow slightly. Pushing his hair back from his face, he let out a low groan and leaned back against the chair he sat in.
"I don't think there's much else to talk about. Alanna was fucking two other guys at least because the guy she was with last night says the baby's not his either. She's too far along - since she's showing - for it to be mine. So that's me, this other guy and whoever the baby belongs to. And the whole time she was just 'slumming' it with me apparently. So I'm sorry for having sex in the house, and for drinking some of your stash, but I had a shitty night." And that was really the only explanation he could give his mother, the God's honest truth.
Justice sighed. It was way too early in the morning to deal with this. She sat down, taking a long sip of her coffee. “I can’t stop you,” she murmured tiredly. “But that really isn’t something I want to walk in on. Or know about. Ever.” She shrugged. “But, you’re nearly eighteen. I can’t stop you.” And at least he’d known Shy for years. She was a good kid. “Just, promise me you’ll be careful? Just because Alanna’s baby isn’t yours, doesn’t mean it couldn’t have been.” She couldn’t deny that she was relieved she wasn’t going to be a grandmother. “And I’m sorry, kiddo.” She reached out, squeezing his hand. And doing her best not to look at the scratches and bruises on his torso. Jesus, they were as bad as each other.
"Lucas!" Shy squawked at the woods comment. Yeah, she knew about that. Really, he should not talk to his mom like that. Not when she was being super nice about everything. Grabbing the toast she'd just made and bringing it over to the table, she set it down and then plopped in Lucas' lap. "We are," she said. "No babies, I promise." Yeah, nobody was talking to her. Oops. She sighed when Justice apologized about Alanna being a total hose beast. Everybody was sorry about that, even if Shy was kind of glad because now she got to have Lucas. She crooned softly and nuzzled his cheek in agreement with his mother.
He hadn't meant it to be mean or anything but it probably shouldn't have been said either way. He sighed and slipped his arms around Cheyenne's body once she was settled in his lap. "No babies," he promised his mother. "I'm kind of relieved honestly," he admitted. "I mean it sucks because I was just getting used to the whole situation and now I don't even know what to think, but I didn't fit into her stupid little glass house anyway," he muttered, not really wanting to talk about any of this anymore. "At least you're not going to be a grandmother," he sighed. "I just wish I'd known all of this shit before I got suspended for the cunt. And now I have to see her in school everyday?" Yeah, he wasn't looking forward to that.
Justice couldn’t help but smile as Shy crooned softly, and snuggled in to Lucas. Ok, yeah, she got to keep him. She was sweet. More than a little strange, with extreme verbal diarrhea, but cute nonetheless. She nodded at Lucas’ comments, pulling back and tucking into her breakfast. “Yeah, I won’t lie, I’m relieved you’re not gonna be a father,” she said softly. Lucas knew how hard she’d found it - she was glad he wouldn’t have to go through anything similar. She reached up to run her fingers through Lucas’ hair, brushing it back from his face. “And hey, if you need any help covering up suspicious deaths, you’ve got two cops and an M.E. on your side.” Because yeah, ‘aunt’ Naya would totally help.
She was definitely keeping him. The hard part was going to be not biting him. But she totally couldn't do that to him after Alanna the bitch had tried the pregnancy trap on him. She'd just have to wait until Lucas bit her. Which she could totally do. So long as it was soonish.
"Lucas wouldn't let me go back and eat her eyeballs," she pouted as if it were completely unfair. "Besides, the guy was getting screwed over too. Bitch." She picked up a piece of toast and loaded it up with eggs and stuffed half of it in her mouth. She was really hungry after last night. And well, she didn't graze like the owls. Her table manners weren't the best either.
"Only because she's pregnant and the baby didn't do anything," he muttered, not wanting this conversation to go any further. "She's a whore, I'm not her baby's daddy and we don't have to go to Maury to find out. It's fine. I'm fine. I'm glad I know now instead of a year down the road when I'm already attached to a kid that's not mine." As far as he was concerned, he was thankful for her cheating. It made him feel a lot less emasculated. "If I have a kid, I don't want it to be with a chick that can do the shit on her own. What the hell did she need me for anyway?" he muttered, shaking his head a little as he grabbed a piece of bacon off of his plate and munched on it slowly.
Lucas clearly wasn’t fine, but Justice wasn’t going to push the point. If Shy wasn’t sitting in his lap, she’d have leant over to hug her son. For now, she settled for sending him a sympathetic look. She wasn’t hungry, all of a sudden, but she knew she should probably eat, considering how much energy her and Jason had burned off last night, and the fact that she was meeting Naya for coffee. “You deserve better, kiddo,” she murmured, smiling at Shy. Because yeah, she was a good kid. And she had a hell of a lot more backbone than Alanna.
:"You're not fine, Luc," Shy insisted. "You should come back to Woodrow Wilson. You could be valedictorian and shit. That way you don't have to deal with her and her 'people'. I miss you anyway. School sucks even more without you around." She smiled back at Justice. "I promise I won't ever do anything like that to him. Because I actually love him." She kissed Lucas' cheek. "Now you're never gonna be rid of me." Yeah, Cheyenne knew she could be a lot. But Lucas never seemed to mind.
He sighed a little both at his mother's reassurances that he deserved better and at Shy telling him he should come back to the public school. Then she went and said she loved him, in front of his mother, and even though he'd believed her when she said it before, he believed her even more now. "I couldn't do that to Mom," he told Cheyenne. "She worked too hard to help me get into the school in the first place," he pointed out. Even if going back to WWHS sounded pretty damned good right about now. "I miss you too," he added, because that much was true. "It's not the same without your big mouth around all the time," he smiled.
Justice’s heart wrenched a little at the look on Lucas’ face when Shy mentioned his old school. “I want what’s best for you, kiddo,” she murmured, a little sadly. “If you’re not happy, then we can move you back.” Yeah, it gave him a better chance as far as college was concerned, but that didn’t mean anything if he was miserable. “We can talk about that when I get back from lunch with Naya, ok?” Because yeah, she wasn’t having this conversation until she’d had a hell of a lot more coffee.
Lucas nodded at his mother's words. "Yeah," he told her. "Thanks for breakfast," he added, glancing over at her. He was glad she wasn't mad at him, at least not enough that couldn't be forgiven easily enough. "See you later then. Drive safe." He watched her get up from the table and reached out with the hand not around Cheyenne. "I love you," he told her, because he did love his mother, damn it. Even if sometimes he was stupid and said and did stupid things. At least now he wasn't bringing a baby into the world. Thank god for small favors.
Shy sighed and got all glassy eyed. She slipped off Lucas' lap so he could get a real hug from his mom. Because God, he probably needed it after all that. "I'll keep him out of trouble until you're back," she promised Justice. "Then I'll get out of your hair so you two can do the mom/son chat thing." She was happy how this all turned out. It was good again. Yeah.
Jason had given her ten minutes and there'd been no reply. Now he was wide awake and concerned. You didn't actually kill them, did you? he texted finally. Not that he was assuming she had, but damn, he was worried in general. What a lousy thing to come home to.
Justice jumped as the phone beeped, smiling as she read the message. Nah. All fine. I’ll call you from the car. Easier to explain there, than try and do it by text. Getting up from the table, she hugged Lucas tightly, stroking his hair gently, the way she used to when he was young, and upset. “I love you, baby,” she whispered, squeezing him even tighter. “And I’m proud of you for not lashing out.” Because yeah, they both had bad tempers. And he had ample reason to hit someone when he’d walked in on Alanna.
Lucas had stood up when Cheyenne got out of his lap, hugging his mother back and sighing a little at the last bit she said. "I was too busy trying to keep Cheyenne from pecking someone's eyes out," he explained with a little smile. "Last thing I needed was a jailbird. Or Jailraven, as it were," he teased, bending down to kiss his mother's cheek. "Go on before Naya has a cow," he told his mom. "Her porridge might be getting cold and you know how she hates that."
Cheyenne stuck her tongue out at Lucas. "Why not?" she shot back. "I'm already jailbait." Okay, yeah, there was her broken filter again. Grabbing a piece of bacon off his plate, took a bite of it, snickering at the bear joke. That must be who Justice was texting. "No more sex in the house. We promise." They could do that. It was only fair.
Jason sighed at the reply. He wanted to know how that had worked out, but at least she was calling him. Good, I wasn't ready to put pants on yet. he texted back, then flopped back on the bed to wait for Justice to call.
Justice released Lucas, tossing Shy a warning look. Yes, because she needed reminded that technically Lucas and her were breaking the law by having sex. She checked her phone, snorting at the reply. And then imagining Jason, all warm and naked in bed. Which...really wasn’t a good idea with two weres in the same room. It had been hard enough getting out of bed and leaving the house that morning, she didn’t need reminded of just how delicious he was. “Alright, I’m gonna grab a shower and head out.” She sighed, looking between them. “I don’t care if you mess around, just...no sex in the house?”
"You're not jailbait," he told her. "You're over sixteen. Age of consent. I'm not a moron," he pointed out, rolling his eyes a bit. His mother's plea for no sex in the house but saying they could mess around made him chuckle a little. "If I mess around with her, it'll likely lead to sex, mom," he pointed out. "But yeah, no sex in the house," he agreed. It was the least he could do really. He hadn't been thinking all that much the previous night about how his mother would feel about him going at it with Cheyenne, but now that he could think more on it, he knew he should respect her more. Respect their house more. "I'll see you later," he told her. "Tell Naya I said hello, yeah?"
"Yeah," Shy agreed. "We'll just go to my place. Or do it the woods." She stuck her tongue out at Lucas. Not that doing it in the woods didn't sound hot. But she was mostly just teasing. "Have fun at coffee." Now she just had to figure out how to keep from making out and having sex with Lucas. Especially with that surge of lust coming off Justice for a second. Damn. Sitting down next to Lucas, she opted for stuffing her face. This chat hadn't been nearly as bad as it could have been. Yay.
