If Charlie had her way, Xander would never go back to his house. Here with her and her family was his home as far as she was concerned. She let her fingers slide through Xander's hair, smiling down at him adoringly as he settled in her lap. "We're not fattening you up. That's just how we eat." she said, leaning down and giving him a kiss. "I'd only eat you in ways you'd like." she murmured against his lips with a wicked gleam in her eyes.
She stuck her tongue out at her sister as she flopped on Xander. "Don't break him." she told her with a laugh. Charlie really had never been so happy in her life. It didn't matter to her that the world outside her door had a serial killer and people who hated her kind. Here, she was safe, happy, loved, and in love. It didn't get much better.
