Elias knew that there was no changing that course of action. It wasn't just for her sake now, if she wanted to kill herself that was her problem. But if she went out and couldn't go through with it and shifted and killed a bunch of innocent people, that blood would be on their hands and Elias would be damned if he was going to let that happen. He wanted no more blood on his hands, damn it. None.
As soon as he heard his brother say the word 'fine', he knew it was go time. The plan was already in action and there was no way to stop it or go back from that point. He'd taken the envelope from her only a fraction of a second before the little whoosh sound of the dart filled his ears. A second later he was behind her, his hands grabbing for hers and jerking them back behind her head. He wanted her immobilized, but more than that he wanted her disarmed. While he held her in place and kept at least from being able to grab for the guns and whatever else she had under that jacket, he let Max get rid of her weapons piece by piece. "This is for your own good," he told her.
