"You're afraid." he told her. "You lie to cover up being afraid." That much was easy to deduce just from what she'd told him. "It's not your fault that he got to you, it's his. Why are you punishing yourself for the damage he did to you?" Kavin questioned, arching a brow at the girl. He knew that it was hard to pull yourself out of a habit that you'd been doing for as long as Antoinette had probably been lying, but it couldn't be helping the girl. "I doubt lying is going to make you feel better about this guy that messed with your head." he shrugged. "I don't mean to be trying to solve your problems or anything, but you haven't really lied to me and I don't think you're so bad." he pointed out.
