She couldn't help but laugh at the response to her cooking. Apparently these poor people weren't getting homecooked meals like the ones Naya prepared daily, even just for herself. That would definitely have to change.
Abbie's teasing only made her smile, especially at how Gabe had defended his cooking. He was a bachelor, he couldn't be held accountable for his lack of culinary skills.
As for the little girl's question, Naya flushed a little and glanced over at Gabe. She wasn't really sure what to say to Abbie in response, so she shrugged a bit. "Well I'm going to stay tonight," she told her firstly, her eyes on the little girl as she spoke to her. "I guess it's up to your daddy if he wants to keep me around longer than that or not," she smiled, eyes flickering back to Gabe again.
