Naya tried to do as he asked, drawing in a slow breath and letting it out just as slowly. She was still nervous, even as Abbie came over and told her hello. She couldn't help but flush at the next words out of the girl's mouth. "I'm Naya," she told the little girl first with a smile, not sure whether to hug her or offer her hand out to her. She settled for gently pushing the girl's hair back from her face. "Thank you," she said with a little smile. "I think he knows what he's talking about because he told me you were very pretty too and he's right," she murmured, feeling a little less terrified the more that she spoke.
"He also tells me that you like lasagna, so I hope he was right. That's what I made with lots of garlic bread. Sound good?"
