Naya knew that she was freaking out, but she was terrified that Abbie wouldn't like her. She wouldn't blame Gabe for choosing the child over her, not in the slightest, but that didn't mean that she wanted that particular situation to come to pass. She put on her best smile though it didn't look entirely free of nervous tension as the man and his daughter came in.
Even when she rushed off to her room to rid herself of her things and Gabe came over to kiss her, Naya was still reeking of nervousness. Not a good thing considering the girl would be able to smell it on her. She tried to calm down and gave him a little kiss before letting out a slow and hopefully calming breath. "Hungry?" she asked him, smiling again, this time a bit more genuinely.
