Thread: Artie and Ava Who: Ava and Artie What: Later in the day, Ava and Artie talk about the fight and his changes. When: Tuesday, October 11th, late afternoon Where: Ava's usual place - the Orchestra room Notes:Music
Ava had been miserable all day. Well actually she'd been miserable for awhile, especially after starting her stupid job at the stupid Wal-Mart and she was pretty much ready to quit because they were assholes but her mother and father wouldn't let her. She had skipped her last two classes and had spent most of her time crying in the bathroom out of anger and frustration and jealousy. A lot of jealousy. She wasn't sure why Artie got to be fixed and no one else did even though at the same time she was happy for him.
After the final bell had run, she'd gone to the orchestra room as usual and settled herself at her harp - the only place where she felt any kind of normal. She had been working on a harp cover of "Strange" by Tokio Hotel with Kerli. She disliked both of them but the song was amazing, she had to give them that much. It was pretty much perfected by now so when she started playing this time... It was nearly flawless and she became so engrossed in it as she usually did when she played harp that she slipped into that drifting sort of feeling she always got. It was that space that left her father calling her angelic when she played...
It wasn't until the end that she realized that someone was standing in the door way - Artie to be specific. She pressed her lips together into a thin line and looked away.
