"You do." Dave smiled, but there was a sad tinge to it. "But I'm not 100% yet. I've still got a lot left to go. It's more than just being grumpy." But then he perked up. "But enough about that!" He clapped his hands and put on a happier smile.
"It's not that it's not legal, it's just...I don't even understand this, I really don't, but there's this thing called handfasting where you get married without it being legally binding, you're only together for a 'year and a day' and then you decide if you want it to be permanent.
