Artina BFF times
Date: 09/30, after Mike leaves
Characters: Tina & Artie
Location: Tina's house
Summary: Awkward moments, surprises, glee gossip, etc.
By the time Mike had left, Tina's dad had come home from work, and then left again with her mom to go to some dinner at some other Asian couples place. Since Tina had been with Mike, they hadn't made her go. Thank god for boyfriends, because it would have been hours of her being bored to tears. When she was alone, she'd gone upstairs, glancing over her shoulder as she did. With a look, her iPod in the kitchen, hooked up to speakers, came to life, and music started to play. She was getting the hang of things. Tina jumped into the shower, letting herself relax after another week of school was over. She'd managed to go the entire day without getting bullied, but her busy schedule seriously had her stressed out most days. When her fingers pruned, she turned off the water, dried herself off, and then wrapped a towel around her body. Her hair, still wet and slightly dripping, was stuck against her shoulders and back. Just as she stepped out of the bathroom, Last Friday Night came on her iPod. Tina had a deep love for Katy Perry, and found herself flying down the stairs and into the kitchen. Because, why not? It wasn't like there was anyone else here. The song was about halfway and she was dancing around her kitchen like a moron in a towel. It wasn't until she spun around, did she realize there was someone standing in the doorway of the kitchen. If it was her mom, she wouldn't have cared. If it was her dad, he'd make fun of her, but she'd get over it. If it had of been Mike, she would have just danced right up to him. She hadn't been expecting Artie. He'd never been able to just walk into her house before. But there he was. And he didn't even have crutches. Tina froze, her mouth hanging open slightly as she gazed at him. She wasn't sure what made her freeze more, the sight of him standing without help, or the fact that he had caught her, still half wet in a towel. |
