Date: 8/27, night
Characters: Everyone
Location: Puck’s townhouse
Summary: Puck’s family is out for the night, so it’s a big old party/drink-a-thon/sleepover. Birthday gifts are encouraged!
Doug’s friend dropped off the alcohol – some Jack, some tequila, some Grey Goose, and a few other things – mid afternoon, so Puck had to stare at it for a few hours before anyone showed up. Whatever. Drinking alone was never fun, anyway.
Puck put it out of his mind and looked around, wondering if maybe he should stash his ma’s breakables somewhere. It would suck to get busted for a party because someone had gotten too drunk and crashed into the shelf of Holocaust memorabilia Ruth Puckerman kept in the living room. Besides, that shit was kind of freaky and morbid. Who wanted to be reminded of genocide when they were getting their drink on? Nobody.
By the time he got all the breakables (and maybe a few valuables, like the Elvis vinyls his ma adored) stashed in the upstairs closet, it was almost time for people to start showing up. Just in case Finn’s ipod had been reduced to only depressing songs since his break-up with Rachel, Puck figured he could waste some more time by flopping down on the couch and going through his own music collection, picking out his favorites – well, the ones you could dance to, anyway.
That, the table for beer pong, the valuables stashed, and his uncle’s camping cooler full of ice, and Puck was set, ready for the party to start.
Why did waiting for things always make him feel a little itchy? And warm?
