Luke needs study pizza
Who: Luke and Sam
When: 21 September, about 8
Where: Sam's work to Dalton
What: SCENE LOTTO!
Warnings: IDK
Luke was glad he stayed at Dalton during the week. He could get out of the hair of his overbearing sisters and mother. He felt a lot calmer when he was away from them (although there were times he did admittedly miss them but he would never admit it. After all, his family was the only constant in his life as he did move around a lot) and he could focus better. Of course, that didn't necessarily show in his grades. What could Luke say? He was a left-brained individual who excelled in the arts. He only took high math and science classes due to familial pressure, not because he liked them or was good at them. Luckily, Luke was a perfectionist and he Hated, yes Hated with a capital letter, when people hassled him. So he decided that C in Geometry will have to be tackled before his parents got involved because that is when it would be painful. That would mean he would have to stop jazz band or the Warblers, both he doesn't plan to stop doing. Besides, Luke doesn't like to see C's. He likes to see A's. They look better. They proclaim, "I am a WINNER." and "If I'm not perfect, I am near it."
So, Luke found someone in his class who was doing pretty well in his classes and organized a study group with said person. Luke admittedly wanted to spend more time with the guy, who normally was the academic bowl type, and Luke didn't know why he did. Especially as soon as they started to study, Luke grew frustrated and found his tutor kind of aggravating because he made it sound like it was the easiest thing ever when it really wasn't. Geometry was HARD. Luke didn't care what his tutor said or his stupid sister, the teacher, Janet, said. Geometry was a bunch of numbers and shapes that had some sort of "archaic" meaning as far as Luke was concerned.
After studying for a decent amount of time, Luke felt his stomach growl. It turned out Luke was having so much, "fun" (aka, his tutor wouldn't let him go until he got the formulas memorized) the cafeteria closed. Before they could move onto Science, Luke convinced his tutor to order pizza. So Luke put the call in for two pizzas (he felt he was so hungry, he could eat an entire one all by himself), one cheese and one pepperoni. Luke even said he'd pay for it to pay his tutor back for all the hard work he put him through. The cashier told Luke it would be about 30-40 minutes. When it came close to the time, Luke left the library to wait at the gate for the pizza delivery boy.
He was still in uniform but he looked rumpled and tired as result. Taking out his iPhone, he began to play fruit ninja and getting quite absorbed into the game.
