It didn't take the pout away, the fact that Artie might be right or wrong about what he said. But it was like school, wasn't it? They were being taught things, and Britt thought that she might actually be good at something with this going on. Except she was good at seeing people naked at this point, so that was a little less fun.
"Artie," her lips tugged in a small smile, her head nodding, "of course I can. I'm sorry if you felt I wasn't being supportive." Even though he'd been kind of mean to her and changed a whole lot, she'd still felt really bad when they broke up, even though it was probably better for them to see what was wrong. "You weren't a jerk," he sort of was, but she didn't want to make him feel bad, "we all got a little wrapped up in our powers I think."
Nodding slightly, Britt knew she could forgive him, that's what friends did. "I'll be sad when you leave, but I won't tell anyone about it. Promise."
