Jadyn ran through the halls of the hospital as fast as she could, the smell of antiseptic stinging her slightly heightened senses. She needed to get to Jaime, that was all that mattered, even as she practically leaped over someone in a wheel chair and earning nasty looks from the nurse, but she didn't care.
Following her instincts, it didn't take her long to find his room, and when she saw him in bandages and unconscious on the stark white hospital sheets, she couldn't help the pained whine that escaped her. In three long strides, she was standing beside his bed, looking down at him through blurry eyes as she tried to decipher what had happened to him from just observing his tightly wrapped right shoulder and left hand.
She'd known that something was wrong from even before she'd gotten the lone text that simply read 'In the hospitall. Before he'd even left the house, suddenly disappearing when she'd gone to get him a glass of water. He'd been so still after his screaming fit, staring off into nothing, and it had scared her. But when she'd returned, he had been gone. Wanting to give him some space she'd tried not to panic and follow him. Looking at him now, that had obviously been a mistake.
"Jaime...what happened?" She whimpered quietly, not really expecting an answer since he was unconscious. She never even noticed that someone else was in the room with them.
