Climbing in the rest of the way, Bethan closed the window and stood beside it, regarding Debra closely. "I came here because I trust you," she said after a moment, her voice quiet and level. "I think everyone could use some of your expertise right now. I wanted to make sure you know what the situation is."
She leant back against the wall, arms folded across her chest. Despite herself, she felt kind of uncomfortable being in someone else's bedroom; personal space was way too important to her personally for this to not be awkward. But that was stupid, and this was important.
"...I should probably ask how you're getting on, too, huh?"
