Puck was finished with his waffles and since it was Saturday (or at least that's what Roger, the nurse, told him), it meant that Dr. Monroe wasn't getting in until later. So Puck had several blissful hours in which to enjoy himself without having to focus so hard he got a headache and then threw up said waffles all over Dr. Monroe's lab coat. That had only happened one and a half times, but Puck wasn't looking forward to it happening again.
He was getting pretty good at making his power to pretty much what he wanted it to do, and the doc said it was because those "neural networks" were still in his brain, een if he didn't remember putting them there. Puck thought that was pretty much a crock of shit, but it was nice not having to worry about singing his clothes or cremating his caregivers or the ward's cat, Mr. Jingles. (Puck was eighty percent sure Mr. Jingles was a chick.)
One time, he'd started a fire so big that he an Dr. Monroe were locked behind these badass blast doors, but Puck had managed to calm down his brain and focus, putting the fire out. He'd almost given the doc frostbite, but they'd let him out to take a medicated "break" for the rest of the day.
Puck had a love-hate relationship with the Valium. It made him feel better, sort of above it all and not worried or anxious about anything, but it also made him sleepy and he lost so much time he could be working to get out of here.
Roger wouldn't let him into the training room without to doc, so Puck shuffled his way over (in his stupid ass scrubs and robe and slippers) to the "Activity room" to play fooseball with himself.
