Summary: It's Jadyn's turn for revenge
Jadyn walked to her locker, her mind pleasantly blank. After the long weekend she'd had, she actually considered going to class. It would be a nice reprieve from everything going on around her and she could use the distraction. She checked her class schedule, which was now taped to the inside of her locker door, grabbed the needed books and closed the metal door, only slightly surprised to see a blonde boy standing in front of her. She frowned at him, but when he only fidgeted and continued to stare at her, her eyes narrowed.
"Can I help you?" Her tone wasn't nearly as sharp as it could be, but he flinched all the same before he began speaking.
"I'm sorry, I just wanted to apologize for spilling milk o-on you."
Jadyn's eyebrows furrowed as she tried to figure out what he was talking about, and then her eyes widened. Last week, Quinn, the boy she'd set Jadyn up with as payback, Quinn. She'd actually forgotten all about everything that had happened. At least until her mentee brought it back up. Jadyn's jaw clenched and her eyes narrowed again as she growled. There went her blissfully unaware mood. Rightfully believing that the growl was because of him, although she would be lying if she said that just the thought of Quinn wasn't enough to set her on edge, he took a careful step back.
"It was an accident, I swear. It's just...it's not everyday that Quinn Fabray walks up to your table and starts talking to you." He rushed on with his apology.
"Who." She hissed and he looked at her uncertainly, which caused her to growl at him again.
"Q-Quinn. Quinn Fabray. One of the most popular girls in school? Blonde cheerleader? You talked to her last week?" He explained, staring at her as if he couldn't tell whether she was being serious about not knowing who he was talking about. It took Jadyn a second to realize that the girl that drove her crazy, mostly in the worst way, and the girl he was gushing about was the same person. Jadyn's posture relaxed a little as she stared at him curiously, her eyebrows still furrowed.
"You know her?"
He actually scoffed.
"I don't know her personally, but everyone knows of Quinn Fabray." He snorted matter-of-factly before realizing who he was talking to as she stared him down. He cleared his throat, pulling at his bow tie as if it were too tight.
"What do you know about her?" She asked curiously, completely ignoring his nervousness. From their tryst in the locker rooms, Jadyn realized that she didn't know anything about the blonde she continued to get into altercations with. That was stunningly clear from the fact that she didn't even know what her last name was. If she was going to continue to go head to head with Quinn, Jadyn figured she should learn all she could about her. She still had to pay Quinn back for the boy standing in front of her after all.
"Only what rumors go around about her." He answered uncertainly, but at her frown he pushed on. "But my brother shared a few classes with her before graduating last year, I'm sure he'd know a lot more about her."
Jadyn turned back to her locker, opening it and tossing her textbook inside as she considered what he said. He may not know much, but something was better than nothing, and maybe his brother might have some useful information as well. Closing the door, she looked at him again as she came to a decision.
"What's your name?"
He looked shocked by the question, but when she raised her eyebrows at him, he snapped out of his stupor.
"It's Wyatt." He answered and she smirked.
"Well 'It's Wyatt', lets go for a ride."
