Thread: Sugar Makes Friends Who: Sugar, OPEN When: Friday 1/27, lunch Where: McKinley High Hallways What: Sugar decides it's time to make a few friends; her powers make it happen.
The thing about Sugar Motta is that she was kind of a big deal. You see, her dad was rich, she had the voice of an angel, and her awesome kind of like, followed her around without her permission. Despite all of this though, she couldn't seem to make any real friends.
Oh, she had people. McKinley had bottom feeders that loved a good heated pool just like anyone else did. They weren't really her friends, though. No one whose sole focus was finding ways to spend her money but who didn't even invite her to their birthday party was a real friend. She knew that much.
Thinking about this, she couldn't help but remember those Glee kids, and all of those totally lame performances they gave for the school assemblies. Sure, they were embarrassing to be around and didn't know the meaning of "fashion conscious," but they all seemed to like each other or something. And this was even with half of them being popular. Maybe she needed to be part of something like that.
But the thing was making friends was exhausting. She'd much rather people just come to her, and she dismiss them or accept them, depending on how well they complimented her swagger.
What are the chances, she thought, leaning against her locker, that if I just stood here, people would just stop so that I could friend-interview them? With that thought, she continued putting all of her afternoon books into her locker. After all, she totally needed room in her bag for her Snuggie and her boombox.
