Thread: Clash of the Titans Date: December 29, late night (backdated) Characters: Bethan and Jadyn Location: The not so dark streets of Lima, Oh Warnings: Language, and violence Summary: Bethan and Jadyn go head to head
Jadyn glanced over her shoulder, satisfied to see that five large thugs were still chasing her. She'd been feeling restless lately and knew it had a lot to do with the backed up energy she was storing. She'd been putting her powers to the test more and more recently, which caused her spars with Jaime to become less satisfying with every session. It wasn't Jaime's fault really, he was at his peak every time they fought, but she was aware that she was getting stronger and faster than he was. She couldn't, no wouldn't risk hurting him, so she'd started holding back. And while she was happy that he remained unharmed, she wasn't able to push herself to exhaustion the way she used to.
After about a week and a half of this, Jadyn felt jittery, her energy buzzing constantly. It made her muscles jump and twitch and she couldn't sit still no matter how hard she tried. She could have easily found other means to get the peace she seeked, but what she really wanted was a good fight, and nothing else would satisfy her until she got one. With that firmly in mind, she'd headed out into town. It had taken her a while to find the type of bar she was looking for, but once she had, it didn't take her long to make a few new 'friends' who had no problem obliging her.
Suddenly she turned down the nearest dark alley, running all the way to the end where she was walled in. Trapped. She panted heavily, as she waited for her pursuers to catch up.
"You've got nowhere to run now, you little cunt!" One of the men spat viciously. He must have been the one whose windshield she'd busted with a brick. She was nothing if not thorough. Smirking, she turned around to eye each man critically. They would do nicely she decided, and because the alley was so deep, she would get to handle all of them without having to worry about any of them running out into the street. Nowhere to run indeed.
