Bethan was just opening her mouth to ask what sources, when the more important mention of DNA searches came up. She hadn't even considered that, which only went to show how stupid she'd been - after all, she was well aware that she'd committed a crime, even if it was fully justified in her view. It wasn't even that she'd get punished for it which worried her, so much as how disappointed her family would be if they knew she hadn't just got into fights, but had actively sought them out. At least the fights at school and such were vaguely provoked.
Her lips pressed into a thin line, she got off her bike, folding her arms. "Sounds like you're accusing me of something," she said, almost casually. "I think you could at least explain what before you go dancing off to talk to the police. I think you owe me that much, don't you?"
