Thread: Eoin goes crazy (again)
Who: Eoin and Jaime
Where: Somewhere in town.
When: Sunday morning.
What: Eoin's powers explode again, and he runs into Jaime.
Warnings: Mentions of rape, abuse, and various other nasty stuff, as well as lots of swearing.
He couldn't breathe. Couldn't think straight. He just ran, and went on running.
She'd found him. He'd changed his email, changed everything, left the fucking country, for Christ's sake, and she'd still fucking found him. He was scared - terrified - but the fear only fed into the anger he felt at her, at himself for letting her get to him so easily, at the whole bloody world.
He hadn't blacked out, the way he had at the gym, but he'd felt the same terrifying sense that he was unstoppable, that sense of power fed by his anger. He'd thrown his computer against the wall so hard the casing smashed open, and he'd watched it spill its guts out onto the floor, and it hadn't got rid of the email, and he knew it. He could feel her, everywhere in the room, so he'd torn the whole room apart trying to shake that feeling that she was hiding there, and he could still see the computer; it was in pieces, but the email was still there, and he was never, ever going to get away from her.
So he ran. He ran faster and harder than he'd ever run in his life, and it still wasn't far enough. Nowhere was far enough. She was always, always going to find him.
That realisation, concrete and hard, was enough to restore him to some kind of sanity. After all, if she was always going to find him, why the hell was he running? What was the point? He began to slow, although he was still running at what would normally have been full tilt, and slowly, the world began to solidify around him again, blurred by tears and still shaky, but real and solid, if not safe.
And it was at around that moment that he crashed headlong into the other boy, and stumbled to a stop, gasping and shaking.
