Luke Park wonders if things can't get any worse (sg_luke) wrote in supergleerpg,
Luke found he could breathe easier when he saw Ava although when he exhaled, a breeze headed in Ava's direction, a small chilly breeze. He found that it when he was a tiny bit emotional, the breeze would be cooler. If he practiced, he probably could make it freezing. He gave her a not so subtle once up then looked away when he realized what he did. "Hi..." he said as he grabbed her hand with a grin.
Pulling her into the house, he shut the door behind him. His house was covered in many knick-knacks, his mother's thing. There were all sorts of pictures including one that might as well been a slightly different Luke in Air Force dress uniform from over twenty years ago (Luke's dad). It was a lived in, but clean, house that focused heavily on family and it showed.
Luke pulled Ava over to where his father was sitting, his bad leg straight out in front of him and his cane leaning on the back of the chair. "Dad, this is Ava. Ava this is dad..." Luke then looked at his father and said something in Korean.
Tom just smiled at Ava, "It's nice to meet you. Luke has said nothing but nice things about you..." he still spoke with the stiffness of a veteran, even though he had been out for six years.
