Julius | Oliver 11:00 pm
“We would not have opened if not for the kids n the island, anyway. I can’t say we justified being open today, but we’ve done enough during the rest of the month to balance the books out so,” Oliver gave a shrug and took a sip of his drink. It was wonderfully sweet, and the translucent green was almost the same shade as his eyes, which always entertained him about apple or mint drinks. “Did you ever run books before technology,” Oliver asked. He had no clue what Julius did with his life before they ran into each other here. Oliver assumed it had something vaguely to do with looking pretty, as he made a good show and a great effort for it. But no one could really exist in this world (the human one) without some form of income. “If not,” Oliver let that hang a bright smile and a shake of his head before another sip of his drink.
“I have only lived in big cities since I came over,” Oliver admitted. He finished the martini and dragged the drink menu from where the bartender had left it with two of his fingers. They knew he liked to nod his head to specialties that they bring out for events. “London. San Francisco. Anaheim. Chicago. I like the chaos. The noise. The lights.” It was like home. Having hundreds of family members in the area, and dozens in the house he lived in at any giving moment. The energy and constant commotion was more blissful than anything else. “But I can see how that’s not for everyone. You know, I was almost a character actor is Disney once."
