Quite against her will, she felt a sudden sympathy for her parents for having to deal with her and her own - everything. If she were being honest then she had taken some time to acclimate to this place as well, and had butted heads with a few people. Someone said it was because she was a spoiled rich kid, and you know, in retrospect, they were probably right. Peisinoê was used to having more resources at her beck and call than this, even at University.
But this was definitely not San Francisco. So. Expectations had to be readjusted.
An eyebrow rose with curiosity at that remark, "Oh? What's on your bucket list, Mr. Rune? What are your goals? Other than keeping us busy?" The Inquisition was genuine and friendly, the interest in this man revealing something else to him other than what he had shown so far (not impressive) would make this whole silly morning worth it.
She laughed quietly at that, a hand rising to cover her smile as she nodded, "If I was here for the money then I would take your suggestion to heart."
He was right, and she didn't deny it. When he sat up she moved to the cabinet, crouching down to dig out a basic bag of generic medicine, "As silly as it sounds, do you want some tums? I am sure it'll pass on it's own, or if you want something a little more -" That gesture was supposed to be jazz hands, honestly, she had seen it on a movie once, it was a real thing alright, "I have some crackers that one of the local healing Witches made that help me when I'm stressed."
When she stood her hands were already smoothing out her dress before she even set the bag down on the counter, ever worried and careful over her appearance. "If you haven't noticed Mr. Rune, if one of your organs is upset, the rest of you will be. That includes your brain."
