It certainly wasn't Matt, the other Wolf she had met since coming to Summerview, that had taught her how to act around Wolves. Honestly, she didn't know if she was treating the situation as she should, only treated this man as she would any other person who was jumpy, possibly feeling trapped. If whatever his situation that lead him to sleeping in the library was as bad as some she had seen, he was right in feeling defensive. It did not feel like accommodating for her to try and put him at ease, only proper consideration.
Between place was a nice word choice, had her face twitching in an almost smile. "You weren't disturbing anyone, I'm sorry I woke you." That was on her, really. She should have expected him to be a light sleeper, many of the others she had met in a similar situation had taken on that practice as well - including her - and speaking of which, she probably needed to get her sweater back. She wasn't sure how much a Wolf would enjoy the smell of books and guava lingering on his clothing, but she would get nervous eventually without more layers at her fingertips, "Are you hungry?"
