Parthenope nodded sagely. "It would make for very good reality TV." Now that was an idea. It certainly wouldn't do to allow mundane camera crews into a sanctuary city, nor would it be good to broadcast the goings on here on mundane networks, but maybe they could make their own TV. Real World: Summerview, or something. Or some other sanctuary city. They had to have their own cable access network didn't they? To broadcast city council meetings or things like that? She was pretty sure she'd seen something like that when skipping through channels to find something good to watch. Of course, she always skipped past it rather quickly because her attention span couldn't handle people droning on and on about zoning laws and alcohol permits. She was a diplomat at heart, sure, but that didn't mean she enjoyed local politics. "It might not be a bad idea for some enterprising magical sort of individual, to start making sanctuary city specific television programming. I know I'd watch it." Of course, she'd watch pretty much anything. "Could you imagine a version of the Bachelor but it's a bunch of Witches and Vampires vying for some rich Werewolf's affection or something? It would be like watching the new couples on dates at the bowling alley, but dialed up to ten." Of course, then it would be just their own private people watching, but still. It was an amusing thought.
"Oh, absolutely," Parthenope smiled back, delighted by the very idea of being able to teach someone how to do something that she herself had only learned to do recently. It wasn't solving conflicts between underwater kingdoms, but it was fun, and had its own rewards. She clapped her hands excitedly when Gabrielle agreed to teach her to garden. "Lovely! I would adore that!" There had to be such a satisfaction to growing something with your own two hands. She wasn't as clever as Peisinoe so she couldn't possibly create mutant cats or any of the other fascinating things she dreamed up in her lab. She was crafty, but needlepoint wasn't nearly as satisfying as she'd like it to be. Maybe growing some of their own vegetables would be more fulfilling.
