Paying the owner of 3 Screens to let her pull this off seemed like a good idea at the time. A great idea, even. She had thought that she had covered all the possible angles when she planned it, but apparently all of her normal attention to detail didn't take into consideration her own impatience, short temper, and just how longit had been since she had wielded a screwdriver for longer than five minutes.
Right now her goal was to remove five chairs in the last row of the theater, and she had only managed to get two chairs removed successfully and was working on the third. After an hour, how old were these things anyway? The screws and bits of it were bent, rusty, or just a lot more difficult than what she had beene expecting when she did research for this online. It was still going to happen, she was definitely digging her heels in on this hill, it almost felt symbolic at this point, honestly, but that stubborness didn't stop her from standing up and kicking chair number three and letting out some rather colorful curses in Russian before chucking the screw driver towards the front of the theater with a frustrated yell. Goddamnit. More muttering, and a fair amount of stomping as well as she walked down the center aisle, past the other two (msotly) intact chairs she had managed to remove down towards the screen. The lights were on, but with her fuckin' luck today the tool had still managed to find one of the few shadows left. Even Skynard, her current favorite hard labor music, wasn't working to ease her mood. |
