"Corruption indeed." Peisinoê grinned, feeling a bit giddy, like the first time her and her sister had snuck out beyond the walls of their home when they were supposed to be in bed. Her shoulders even did a little shimmy as she tentatively took one more piece of candy out of the bag before leaning forward as if conspiring with the younger woman, "I would have gotten such a scolding for this back home." Instead of the rush of guilt or anxiety she expected from the admission she felt - well, she still felt a little, but she focused on the candy instead.
