“it’s sooooo goooooood!!! Are you planning on making it a thing-thing? What can I call it when I ask for it? Super yummy drink of yay?” To be fair, Starbucks had shorter drink titles, and that was before someone started with their adjustments. She remembered one time they had a drink so wordy that it looked like it pained the barista to write out all the letters for the acronym. She never ordered it, no matter how tasty it seemed. She was already a nightmare with her specifications there. But Starbucks was bitter. It was not bad, but she was a Phil’s and Pete’s girl through and through. And they were both actually fair trade. Though… at least Starbucks paid its employees better than most places. That was one of the few reasons she went there often. And their collection of reusable goods.
“I do have the right nose for a guinea pig,” Kenna mused playfully before twitching her nostrils in a way similar to one or a rabbit, perhaps. She then smiled again and proceeded to miss the straw in her first two attempts to drink from it. “I don’t mind! I super promise. I was just finishing with one when you came in, so it’s fine!” At Shara’s comment, Kenna looked a bit alarmed and looked around at the place. It had become decidedly more cramped in the two years she had worked there. That was the side effect of putting a dryad near plants. She also had a hint of guilt, as her apartment was overrun with plants, and she was still pending her move-in date with Timpani. She gave a shy smirk and shrugged. “I get a lot of the energy out in the forest or at home.” It was probably why the place did not look like something out of Mirkwood. Shara’s wistfulness cause her to look up at the woman thoughtfully. She got it. Sure, she did not have quite the same amount of time in her old stomping grounds, but she still missed it. She missed the shade of green that was only found in California. The dampness and rich smell of the salty sea water and redwood. She missed 350 days of sun out of the year. “What type of art were you thinking?” Kenna tilted her head and put her hands in her smock. “multimedia, painting, sketch? Photography? I’m not very good with sculpting, sadly.”
