Ah, it's a big day Who: Maeve and Drew When: 9/22 8PM Where:The Music Store
Briar was not one of those unaging beings that disliked change. The existence of Maeve, and the pub, was one thing that demonstrated that. It was important to keep up with the changing times, helped stay successful and harder to catch. If you always take the same route home, it was easier to catch you. That, and getting bored was a serious danger. Psychologically wise and idle hands are the devil's instrument wise.
With that in mind, she liked coming up with new ways to cater to her odd clientele at the pub. Hence the reason she was pulling open the door to the music store she visited a couple times a month anyway. What? She liked change but she still preferred some older things, like vinyl. That and she looked for unique posters to throw up around the pub. In her hand was a six pack of beer, each can having unique artwork and blood type labels. It was new, and she had gotten the pack special from the people who made it. They were chilled, and yeah, she probably looked a little weird taking beer into the music store, but she probably wasn't the first.
Vamps and Weres always made her a little...not nervous, but cautious. She knew for a fact that her scent was the only thing that didn't change when she shifted. Of course, it was just her baseline smell, and that was so often swallowed by the smell of Pub, but it was there. But Drew didn't hang around the criminal types or high rolling poker players that Briar showed up around, and her other shifts were less common in town on purpose. But still. The concern was always there, in the back of her mind.
"Evening! Or mornin' dependin' on your definition." She yelled into the store, startling the one other customer, possibly moreso with the saucy grin that accompanied it.
