Maeve made note of him. That was her way, to look for interesting people who could be a threat, or even useful. There was also something to folk who moved with a quiet self-assurance that implied they weren't out to prove anything to anyone that she appreciated. Possibly because she bounced from the extreme of that and, well, the opposite.
Though she was distracted by two men left over from the busier lunchtime, getting rowdy over absolutely nothing. The two of them happened to be Weres, and obstinance apparently ran in their blood. Maybe it came with the bite, or maybe they were just lucky. It hadn't esclated to furniture yet though, and she was grateful for that,
They both quieted down at the gravelly voice of the stranger, muttering between them even as their asses hit chairs to sit properly. It earned him a raised eyebrow and her focused curiosity, "Not anymore." Combined, they probably could take him in a fight, and it looked like they knew that. But they also knew they shouldn't be trying anyway, and anyone who was as bold as this guy was might have something up his sleeve. Hidden tricks were a big thing in this town, she should know. "Here. First one's on the house, what'll it be?" She walked down the length of the bar to swing around it at her proper station with a grin and a gesture towards the wall that showed what they had on tap and otherwise.
