Ethan reclined back into the booth and stretched his arm out across the top of it looking very much as if he belonged there as he quite honestly owned every inch of space he inhabited. "Well," he began though he was admittedly distracted by the next waitress who came to pour their coffee and a knowing look was exchanged between the two. "There is that."
He collected up his mug and took a slow considering sip of the unsweetened and lacking in cream or milk coffee but that's how he liked it. Dark, bitter, and completely natural. "It's... interesting," was what he replied with. "Curious that an old acquaintance of mine should call this place home and not just that but be a lawmaker as well. Very curious."
Hopefully they would soon find like-minded individuals because there wasn't really a shred of goodness in Ethan or if there had been it had been very quickly stamped out the same way light was in all consuming darkness. "But well done you for securing yourself gainful employment."
