Danny grinned when she smacked his arm and laughed. "It was helpful. Sometimes it pays to be straightforward with people." He kept smiling as he reached into his back pocket and pulled out a crinkled pad of paper. He'd taken down some notes on it for drinks that weren't familiar to him, in case he forgot a step.
Flipping to a blank page and plucking a spare pen from behind the bar, Danny scribbled something down.
"I've gotta get back to these drunks, but we should hang out sometime, somewhere less noisy." He ripped the corner of the paper off and slid it to her, it now containing his cell number. Danny met her gaze. "Text me whenever."
