Chrys didn't fully understand why she was being sent to Summerview. Danny was already there, but then again Danny wasn't Xi's number two. Perhaps it was more she didn't want to be sent to Summerview. Specifically Summerview. To get out, strike out on her own more, sure, but Summerview? It had its advantages, of course - a whole town of their people, at least in a way, and they could walk around as they wished without having to hide anything. The biggest thing though, one of those people was Thistle. That was going to turn out to be a big problem, she was sure of it. No brother in two hundred years makes a furious little sister.
But those were thoughts for another time. "Danny?" Chrys called out after she rang the doorbell. Had she heard the word idiot in there? It'd been faint, through the wood of the door, but she was sure she heard it. He'd screwed something up. Bad enough to call himself an idiot. Or he could be on the phone. Chrys kind of doubted it.
Overall, she thought of Danny as a decent guy. Obsessed with Xi wasn't even a strong enough statement. Trying to climb the ladder up to reach her. All her thoughts were that he'd been doing a pretty decent job of it so far. He'd ended up in Summerview with her, after all, which meant Xi trusted him.
As she waited at the door, Chrys stood properly, her back straight and as tall as she could get for being on the shorter end of height. Damn, she Today her hair was full of loose curls, a stylish pair of black slacks hugged around her curves, and white fitted top. She held her hands at her sides and sighed, not at him, but the whole day. It'd already been too tiring.
