"Mm, truth," Roman agreed with a further nod of his head. "I'm normally nicer to people who feed me." Which was not a lie. He especially liked people who fed him and were happy to do so as he didn't really cook outside of his job as he did it five or sometimes seven days a week so the last thing he wanted to do was go home and do that. It might be different if he had somebody living with him and admittedly he probably cooked more for his animals than he did himself.
He did catch the curiosity and interest in her eyes and arched an eyebrow in her direction though he was immediately distracted by the fact Sharah had gone ahead and helped herself to some food of his plate.
"Careful now," he mock growled. "I'm not afraid to bite the hand that feeds."
