"Well, it's kind of my job," Roman pointed out with a smirk as he proceeded to fold his arms across his chest as his eyes remained fixed on the woman who had braved the night with food. That in itself was enough to earn her favour from the dragon because he liked food almost as much as he liked animals which was really saying something.
He inhaled again and identified her race by that alone as he was old enough to have gotten a flavour for a great many races in his time but Roman was very good at keeping that to himself. Of course when she mentioned sharing Roman did his very best to bite back on the growl which resonated in the depths of his chest before huffing out a breath.
"I suppose I should," he admitted reluctantly. "He's been out here as long as I have after all."
