Apparently he'd heard what she'd heard then, and it did make her wonder a little if each had simply heard about the other. Were they it? Maybe. Their species weren't lone wolves - they were clans. Families.
There was part of her that wanted to cling to him simply because he was what he was, but most of her wouldn't let that happen. She still had a lot to deal with, after all.
