Luke blinked a little, 2007 was a very long time ago. He’d been twelve (which took him longer to work out than he was proud of, his mental maths agility was never really great and it was exceedingly dusty in the part of his brain that retained his learning), and far more preoccupied with causing mischief with the St. Piers and bothering the older kids with his presence (trying to prove that he was just as good as they were and as grown up so they should include him in everything) than paying attention to what was on television. Also, at that age, he had been convinced that girls were gross and had cooties (later self reflection revealed that actually he was just hella gay) so anything with the word ‘girl’ in the title was automatically discounted in his mind. “Was it a CW show? It feels like it should have been a CW show.”
Luke had ~opinions about some of the stuff that was shown on CW.
He snorted. “Right now? Nothing.” It wasn’t said proudly, if anything he was a little ashamed, awkward to be admitting that he was basically just freeloading off his parents right now. “I need to get a job, thought I might see if the Gazette was hiring… but right now just sorta… existing?” He was lucky he hadn’t no rent or bills to pay as that was all covered by his parents by virtue of them being quite well off. Ghost hunting did pay the big bucks, after all. “You?”
