Danny beamed when she laughed at his story. Somehow her approval made him feel good, validated. He was liking her more and more and, though he had dropped applications at other bars in town, he was seriously considering ignoring those and focusing on this one. Especially when she told him he'd make a good fit.
Thoughts of other workplaces went out the window and he scooted forward on his seat with a grin and flattered flush to his cheeks. His hazel eyes beamed back at hers. "Yeah, just one," he said, lacing his fingers together on the table. "When can I start?"
