Kyle couldn't help the way her eyebrows rose as the other woman explained in part how it was made. "Wait," she said, knowing Marie had explained the best places to get them, but unable to move past the first thing she'd revealed. "You not only make the rest of what's needed for this, you bake bread too?" She wasn't sure she even really needed to know the best places to get these. Kyle was pretty sure this was the best place she'd ever need.
Shaking her head in amazement, she held her glass of water up to Marie in a salute of sorts. "Kudos to you, lady," she commended before taking a sip. Her eyes stayed on the other woman as the topic of seeing came up, and she couldn't help the way her lips quirked at her reaction. "I know you mean on that front," she said with a nod. Kyle had a few people that were favorites of hers, but she had to space out visits. Her mother had always stressed the importance of avoiding attachments with one's food.
"I do," she confirmed, though she had only ever had it happen once. "Although if you care enough about avoiding addiction then maybe seeing was the right word," she added with a teasing grin.
