Even after two years living in Summerview, if there was one thing that Daciana Montagne was not accustomed to, it was the cold. She hated it. Louisiana did not have winters like Summerview. They had summers that made people wear as little as possible, but the closest to cold winters ever really got was an irritating wind.
Bundled up as much as possible with a thermos of hot tea in hand, the Naiad was out and about in search of something new to draw. Something new to work with and create something from. Something new for the gallery in Atlantic City. Something that spoke to her.
With the extra time she'd been spending with the twins lately, Daciana had been so very busy that she hadn't had a chance to paint anything new... her motivation and imagination was found wanting. It sometimes happened when she was tired, but she always worked through it. Always found some new inspiration to draw from. It just meant that she had to go looking for it.
It was by pure circumstance that Daciana came across someone else working on a piece of art. She was tucking her face down into the scarf around her neck, then returning to her work. That was dedication, and the Nymph could appreciate dedication to art. More than most. It was the reason she moved towards her and held out her thermos in an offering of sorts. After all, hot tea on a day like today could be a godsend... even if it came down to simply holding the cup in hand for the warmth.
"That's nice," she complimented, looking down at the watercolor with a good amount of interest. It was something she'd hang in the gallery. Maybe something she could contact Timpani about to be one of the first to hang in the new Summerview location.
