Eddie nodded. He tried to understand growing up under the sea in a society that was literally removed from the rest of the world. "It must be difficult to adjust. I've lived in Atlantic City trash since I was born, so it's hard for me to imagine." He had to grow up faster than most kids. Dodging an abusive household while working as a courier for the mob didn't exactly lean itself towards innocence. And, most people he knew went through something similar. Tough city lives, living on barely enough money and hustling for something more.
He laughed at the idea of his arcade under water and nodded. "What? No Tetris down there?" Eddie joked and then hummed appreciatively when she said she was good at pinball. "There's really no need to be a hardcore gamer to work here. I mostly want this place to be a fun escape for people. If someone asks you where a machine is, I have a map under the prize counter. And," Eddie looked up at her with a serious expression. "If anyone makes you uncomfortable, I'll happily go full vampire on them if needed. Though, I have a feeling you can take care of yourself."
