The bar was essentially an extension of himself, so any compliment of it was something he took to heart. It was nice to be appreciated for creating something people enjoyed, after all, though the intention had literally been to create something he enjoyed, and hopefully other people would just fall in line, but still. He shot her an appreciative grin. "It's sort of my brain child, I'm glad you enjoy it."
Not a Vampire indeed. Julius already did enough by moonlight, he didn't want to have to give up the sunshine completely. At her question he shrugged. "It's not my usual spot, actually. The water was too choppy off the pier though." That was winter for you. "It's not really about the fish anyway," he added, though he did like fish and if ever he caught something worth keeping he did so, "It's more about doing something quiet and solitary. It's a brain clearing activity, you know?"
