"Yes, hun." Shara called back towards the room as she spoke to the rather cranky centaur woman that had come in. Not that the woman's clear displeasure that Shara was behind the desk instead of a familiar face phased her, it would take more than that, thank you very much. But she seemed to relax once she heard Mircea's voice.
It was perhaps good that Shara was in no rush, because what it really took to open the cranky woman up was asking her questions about the book that Mircea had set aside for her. Shara was so captivated by her intense interest that Shara found herself writing down the title and author for herself on a spare post it that she found so she could order it for herself, which made the woman and her new best friends. So it wasn't until Shara took the cash for the book and arranged a meetup at her shop in two weeks time for them to discuss the book.
After the front door shut behind her Shara walked back to the room she had left her new charge in. Luckily Mircea was right where she left him, Shara took a closer look around the back before leaning down over him, tapping her finger on the mug so it was topped off with a pleased smile that he seemed to be enjoying it. This was her first time in the shop, but she was clearly making herself at home, humming still as she opened up his storage bins (haha) until she found a plastic plate before she came back to sit at the table with him. "Biscuits! Biscuits make everything better!" The smell of Paprika and Brownies filled the air again as the plate filled with a variety of - of course - her mother's favorite feel-good biscuits.
